This position will function as Grain Merchant/Originator for the Wapella or Parnell facility of Primient Grain. In addition, this position will also work closely with the other managers in the region and group to procure grain for the network.

Requirements

GED/High School Diploma required.

Nice To Haves

1 year of experience in country elevator or grain related business, preferred
Experience with Grain Marketing Software, preferred
Fluent with Microsoft Office
College degree in a related Ag-Business field, preferred

Responsibilities

Work as a team along with the other Primient Grain facilities across the region and group for procurement of grain
Customer growth through on farm visits
Forecasting customer growth and total elevator origination
Manage truck logistics
Position Management and Basis Trading
Scale operations and grain grading
Hedging Grain through the futures market
