The role of the Grain Grader is to probe, weigh, and grade incoming corn from our customers.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED
Access to cell phone for test instructions
Must be willing and able to work overtime hours as needed depending on volumes/harvest season

Nice To Haves

Corn grading or elevator operating experience, preferred.
Experience with Microsoft Office programs

Responsibilities

Verbal communication with inbound corn vendors to determine basic ticket information
Computer entry of basic ticket information as well as grades
Grain sampling using pneumatic sampling system
Operation of grain sampling and grading equipment
Visual and mechanical inspection of inbound corn
Basic daily housekeeping of the workplace
Repetitive lifting of 5 to 15 lb. articles
Ability to work with 1 to 3 other individuals in tight quarters in assembly line style
Able to stand for extended periods of time
Ability to climb to a second story level
