About The Position

The duties of this hands-on job will include grain receiving, storage, handling, drying, blending, and loading of grain; monitoring stored grain condition; and maintaining and cleaning grain facilities and equipment to provide a safe environment for you and fellow Team Members. Grain Elevator Operators will be cross-trained to perform a variety of tasks. This position is located in Atchison, KS, and is a 1st shift role, from 7am to 3pm, Monday-Friday, with opportunities for ample overtime, including weekends. The role involves using various grain handling equipment, mainly conveyors and legs, and handling bulk commodities such as wheat, corn, and soybeans.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Reliable transportation
• Able to read, write, understand and follow written and/or verbal instructions in English (for safety reasons)
• Available to work overtime and weekends
• Professional demeanor (safety conscious, quality of job performance, cleanliness, and verbal communications)
• Able to pass a criminal background check
