The Graduate Registered Nurse (Graduate RN) position involves an education and training plan with collaborative follow-up to achieve the standard of excellence for a Registered Nurse (RN) role. The Graduate RN works under the direct supervision of an RN on the unit, developing skills and knowledge to provide independent safe patient care by the end of their orientation or residency program.
Requirements
- Must not have any previous RN experience
- High School graduate or equivalent required
- Graduated of Accredited RN School of Nursing required within 1 year from the start of the program
- Registered Nurse with current California RN license
- AHA BLS certification (current on hire)
- AHA ACLS certification (current or obtain within 30 days of hire)

Responsibilities
- Be guided with an education and training plan with collaborative follow up in order to meet the standard of excellence for a Registered Nurse (RN) position
- Work under direct supervision of an RN who is present on the unit
- Develop increasing skills and knowledge in their ability to provide independent safe patient care by the end of their orientation or residency program
