Pennoni is currently seeking a Graduate Landscape Architect to assist on multi-discipline public & private site development projects while based at our office in Philadelphia, PA. This position will primarily support Project Landscape Architects with the development of design, permitting, and construction plans (for both land development and municipal projects). Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited program; recent and soon-to-be graduates are encouraged to apply!

Nice To Haves

  • Excellent communication skills (verbal & written).
  • Proficiency with MS-Office 365 (e.g.: Outlook, Excel, & Word) is required.
  • Working knowledge and familiarity with technical drawings, specifically site, grading, and planting plans, is a plus!
  • Exposure to working on large-scale greenfield / land development projects is a plus!
  • Working knowledge and familiarity to relevant design & CADD software tools (e.g.: AutoCAD Civil 3D, Adobe Suite, LandFX, etc.) is a plus!
  • Working knowledge of modeling programs (e.g.: Sketchup, Lumion, and/or Revit) is a plus!
  • Basic plant material knowledge is a plus!
  • Working knowledge of ArcGIS is a plus!
  • Ability to understand and apply applicable codes and regulations is a plus!

Responsibilities

  • Prepare land development documentation.
  • Prepare landscape plans and coordinate planning services.
  • Contribute to the preparation of site plans, planting plans, grading plans, utility plans, stormwater management reports, erosion and sediment control plans, construction details, and applications.
  • Perform limited field inspection (as needed).
  • Additional tasks may be assigned, as needed.
