About The Position

We are seeking a highly motivated Graduate Intern – Power System to join our team and support analytical and research initiatives in power systems and energy markets. This role is ideal for candidates currently pursuing or planning to pursue a Master’s or Ph.D. degree in Power Systems, Electrical Engineering, Energy Systems, or a related field.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or intending to pursue a Master’s or Ph.D. in Power Systems, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline
• Strong understanding of power systems fundamentals (e.g., generation, transmission, load dynamics)
• Experience with data analysis tools (Python, SQL, or similar)
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with energy markets (e.g., ISO/RTO such as ERCOT, PJM) is a plus
• Experience with power system modeling tools or optimization techniques
• Knowledge of renewable integration, congestion analysis, or market forecasting
• Exposure to machine learning or statistical modeling

Responsibilities

• Support analysis of power system operations, market dynamics, and generation behavior
• Assist in developing models for forecasting, optimization, and system performance
• Work with large datasets to extract insights and improve decision-making
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on research and modeling initiatives
• Present findings through reports and visualizations
