About The Position

This Graduate Interior Design Assistant position presents an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to take on the role of helping undergraduate interior design students in INT-4220. It gives someone with experience designing interior environments for a large variety of building types a chance to test their skills. If you are good at multitasking and time management, and equipped with strong digital and hands-on design experience, then this opportunity gives you the chance to further develop your skills. This position will potentially further your professional development by enhancing your ability to teach design software in a studio course.

Requirements

• The candidate MUST have a certified bachelor's degree in interior design or architecture.
• MUST be efficient with Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD, and ADOBE CC, software packages.
• MUST have previous experience with building code applications and/or construction documentation creation.

Nice To Haves

• Proficient with Adobe Express, Canva and/or Microsoft Power Point software
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel
• Proficient with file organization in ONE DRIVE, and TEAMS, etc.

Responsibilities

• Help students with the application of design software (Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe CC, etc.)
• Assist with one-on-one desk critiques, providing feedback as needed.
• Provide clarification for construction documentation creation.
