The Jansen Potash Project, located about 140 kilometres east of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, is set to become one of the largest and most sustainable potash mines globally, representing a CAD$14 billion (US$10.5 billion) investment and the largest private investment in Saskatchewan’s history. During construction, the project will create approximately 5,500 jobs, and once operational, around 900 permanent roles. The 24 month Graduate Engineer Program is designed to establish a strong foundation for a long term career at BHP. The program focuses on developing technical capabilities and professional skills in engagement, change management, and delivering results. Graduates will rotate through 2 4 different teams, gaining exposure to real projects, diverse disciplines, and experienced leaders. This approach helps build well rounded capabilities, meaningful relationships, and leadership skills early in their careers. Upon completion, graduates can continue within the same commodity or explore other pathways across BHP.
