About The Position

MSA has an opportunity for a Graduate Engineer - Electrical in our Appleton, Kiel, Mequon, or Milwaukee office locations. You will be a member of our thriving MEP team on the Buildings Service Line and make a significant and positive impact on the communities you serve. This position focuses on a variety of electrical building systems, such as power distribution, lighting and lighting controls, fire alarm systems, data distribution, communication systems, and security systems. Project types can range from K-12 schools, municipal buildings, and other commercial buildings. What does it mean to serve communities for over 100 years? Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related degree required, or anticipated in the coming months
A valid driver’s license required
This position requires you to have authorization to work in the United States for any employer. We will not provide sponsorship for this position.

Nice To Haves

EIT and desire to obtain PE preferred
Previous related engineering intern or co-op experience preferred
Prior experience in the MEP field preferred
Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Excel required
Revit and Auto CAD coursework and/or experience would be a plus
A desire to learn more about MEP projects in a consulting industry

Responsibilities

Electrical (Power Systems and Lighting) engineering responsibilities will include design, field observation, and survey activities as well as document production Revit (BIM, building information modeling).
Heavy emphasis placed on building energy management and sustainable design principles.
Working alongside senior engineering staff, assist with bidding and construction administration, and site observation of work performed.
