The Web Content Specialist Graduate Assistant is responsible for managing, updating, and publishing content on RCVCOBE web pages to ensure accuracy, clarity, and compliance with university branding and accessibility standards. Duties include regularly reviewing pages, adjusting layouts or media, and supporting the creation of new pages or improvements to site navigation. The candidate will work with faculty and staff to gather information, respond to update requests, and support the college's digital communication needs. Additional tasks include monitoring for outdated content or broken links, recommending usability improvements, and coordinating with IT, marketing, or communications personnel as needed. The role may also involve maintaining event pages, uploading documents, and posting announcements. Maximum appointment is limited to twenty (20) hours per week (50% FTE); assistantships are semester-based and subject to renewal each term. The Graduate Assistantship is available to master's or doctoral students assigned to a faculty or staff member within the Robert C. Vackar College of Business and Entrepreneurship (RCVCOBE). Duties relate to the student's field of study and may vary by project. The Web Content Specialist Graduate Assistant should have basic knowledge of web content management, including updating pages, publishing materials, and ensuring site accuracy and functionality. The student must be able to apply university web standards and accessibility guidelines. Candidates must have foundational experience in web design and basic graphic design to support the visual presentation of web content.
