About The Position

The Graduate Assistant - Swimming will assist staff with practice and competition operations, team travel plans, and on campus recruitment of prospective student-athletes. The Graduate Assistant will also be responsible for assisting with administrative duties and Student-Athlete wellness. Regular, reliable and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.

Requirements

  • Earned bachelor’s degree from an accredited academic institution
  • Enrollment or acceptance in a University of Arkansas graduate program
  • Must be available to work evenings and weekends
  • Excellent communication and computer (Microsoft Office) skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and meet established work deadline

Nice To Haves

  • Collegiate swimming and diving experience as a Student-Athlete or coach
