This position assists faculty conducting critical sexuality research. The graduate assistant will work closely with Carole Clements, principal investigator (PI), for authorized and proposed research projects related to human sexuality. Primary responsibilities are determined by the current phase of authorized and proposed research projects when assistantship commences. These include, but are not limited to: preparing materials for submission to professional organizations (i.e., conference presentations), granting agencies and foundations (i.e., funding opportunities); preparing materials for submission to Institution Review Boards (IRBs); designing research instruments (e.g., surveys) preparing materials for research participant recruitment process; conducting literature review(s); recruiting and/or interviewing research participants; collecting, coding, and/or analyzing data; maintaining accurate research participation records; safeguarding participant confidentiality; managing project-related communication; preparing, maintaining and updating project-related articles, reports, and presentations; and attending project and project-related meetings as determined by PI.
