Requirements

  • Enrolled in a graduate program at the institution.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations.
  • Experience in student leadership, counseling, or residence life preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and work independently.
  • Commitment to fostering a Christ-centered community and supporting student spiritual growth.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and on-call as needed.
  • On-campus residency is required for this position.
  • Bachelor's degree in education, ministry, or related field
  • Desire to pursue Greenville University graduate program.
  • Experience in Student Development or desire to pursue a degree in a related field.
  • Agreement with the purpose of Greenville University and demonstration of a mature Christian faith.
  • Leadership, initiative, strong written and verbal communication skills, and administrative ability.
  • Ability to work as a member of the Residence Life Senior Staff and Community Life team.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in student leadership, counseling, or residence life preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Area Coordinator in leading and supervising undergraduate Resident Assistants within the residence hall.
  • Develop and implement living-learning programs that promote a Christ-centered community and enhance student development.
  • Support the planning and execution of residence life activities and events that foster community engagement.
  • Meet with students for general counseling, guidance, and support to promote their well-being and success.
  • Facilitate Resident Assistant staff selection, training, supervision, and ongoing development.
  • Collaborate with campus departments to ensure a safe, inclusive, and welcoming living environment.
  • Assist in addressing student conduct issues and promote positive community standards.
  • Contribute to the assessment and improvement of residence life programs and initiatives.
  • Serve in our ResLIfe oncall rotation
