About The Position

The Department of Biological Sciences at California State University San Bernardino invites applications for a Graduate Assistant (GA) position. This position provides an excellent opportunity for graduate students to gain valuable experience in both research and supervising students in a classroom, workshop, or laboratory while contributing to the department’s mission.

Requirements

• Enrollment in the MS in Biology degree program at California State University, San Bernardino. Students enrolled in other graduate programs may be eligible
• Must maintain academic eligibility throughout employment period (3.0 GPA or higher)
• Must be able to work cooperatively with faculty, staff and other students
• Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively and work independently
• Bachelor’s Degree in hand by time of appointment

• Evidence of scholarly activity, publication, and innovation is valued.
• Evidence of exemplary graduate-level teaching and leadership experience at program level is preferred and should be noted in application.
