About The Position

Naropa University seeks qualified candidates from our student body to fill this Graduate Assistant – Distance Learning position. This position provides instructional support in the creation, maintenance and delivery of courses and trainings through the Distance Learning department. There is one role available for this Graduate Assistantship which start in the Fall 2026 semester.

Responsibilities

  • After training by and under the direction of the Distance Learning staff, assist with i. management of Canvas campus: set up semesters, copy content, enroll users, and prepare courses for launch. ii. instructional design support for Canvas courses. iii. development of tutorials and training courses. iv. assist faculty in Canvas environment
  • Additional duties as assigned within Academic Affairs.

  • All regular full-time and part-time faculty and staff, including student workers, accrue sick leave benefits. Full-time and part-time staff positions accrue vacation and personal time.
  • All leave accrual rates vary based on the position, hours worked, and years of service.
