About The Position

Assist the Associate Athletic Director for Business Operations with budgets, travel, and purchases. Job Description Duties and Tasks Reviews athletic budget accounts for accuracy with supervision of the Assistant Athletic Director for Business Operations. Inputs requisitions into Datatel after approval from sport supervisor in ARMS. Processes cash advance checks and expense reports. Processes van scheduling with security and procurement. Administers payment for purchases and works closely with vendors. Assists with financial administration of summer camps and conferences. May assist with the NCAA, EADA, and SSC and institutional reports related to expenses. Helps track spending of various athletic accounts. Coordinate travel details for teams and recruiting purposes. Follows up with staff and ensures business department policies are being followed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Sports Business.
  • Working knowledge of sports in general
  • Must have outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Computer skills to include: Excel, Word, Outlook
  • Use of internet, fax machine, and copy machine.
  • Accounting skills.
  • Experience in an office environment
  • Ability to effectively communicate with various constituents on a wide variety of topics
