Grade 3 Stationary Engineer
About The Position
Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Grade 3 Stationary Engineers for projects located in the Baltimore, MD area. This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is $40/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope: Operate and monitor stationary equipment Record temperature, pressure, water levels, and fuel consumption in logbooks Read meters and gauges at scheduled intervals Conduct routine inspections: oiling & lubricating equipment, tightening fittings, replacing gaskets, valves, and gauges Assist with furnace and boiler maintenance and repair Perform water titration testing and adding prescribed chemicals such as water softeners Clean and maintain fire and water sides of fuel-burning equipment, pumps, screens, pipes, and gratings Remove ashes and clinkers Switch to backup equipment when necessary Shut down equipment as directed Report unsafe conditions Company Details Tradesmen International not only offers consistent work, top pay, and employment opportunities, we also provide a benefits package that is among the best in the industry. Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor stationary equipment
