About The Position

This position will work mainly with Dr. Sue Abdinnour in the FREDS department. The primary function of a graduate research assistant (GRA) is to assist faculty members in their scholarly and / or creative activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree
• To be eligible for an assistantship, students must be admitted to a degree program in either full or conditional standing. Students admitted on probation or placed on academic probation following admission may be eligible for assistantship awards under certain circumstances.
• Excellent knowledge of advanced Excel skills including use of Add-Ins
• Excellent knowledge of Python programming and SQL Database
• Strong interpersonal, written and communication skills
• Strong conceptual, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Professional, quick learner, and has attention to details

Nice To Haves

• Worked for at least 1 year after Bachelor's degree
• Expected graduation is December 2026 or later
• Has a record of research publications or writing samples
• Has complete applied projects that are available online

Responsibilities

• Activities to include reports
• Assisting with grading activities and research.
