About The Position

The GPAS Inventory Administrator is responsible for serializing/labeling products according to specifications while meticulously scanning and tracking all inventory materials and finished goods. This role is essential for maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring product traceability, and supporting a smooth and efficient production flow.

Requirements

Computer systems proficiency and understanding.
High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Prior experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment is an asset.
Proficiency with handheld scanners and basic computer applications for data entry.
Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in tracking inventory.
Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions and safety procedures.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform repetitive tasks.

Responsibilities

Use a handheld barcode or Radio-Frequency (RF) scanner to log all parts, subassemblies, and raw materials used in the assembly process.
Scan and document the completion of finished goods, updating the inventory management system in real-time.
Track and record all material movements to and from the assembly line.
Assist with regular cycle counts and full physical inventory counts as needed to reconcile physical stock with system records.
Report any inventory discrepancies, such as shortages or surpluses, to the inventory or production supervisor.
Apply labels with accuracy, including barcodes, destination, and other required information, for tracking and shipping.
Retrieve and restock materials from storage areas as directed, ensuring the right parts are available for production.
Inspect components and completed products for defects and quality issues, and report any non-conformities to the supervisor.
Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the shift.
Work collaboratively with other team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
