This position supports compliance with government property regulations and ensures accurate, auditable records across all contracts. You will exercise independent judgment to coordinate property management activities, guide program personnel, track reporting, and ensure documentation is complete. You will help maintain day-to-day adherence to the 22 elements/outcomes of government property as defined in FAR Part 45, DFARS, agency supplements, and company policies. This is a hybrid position working 2 days per week from our Arlington and Herndon, Virginia offices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience and professional training
  • 2+ years of experience in government property, logistics, or asset management supporting Federal prime contracts
  • Strong attention to detail with proven ability to maintain accurate records and coordinate multiple tasks/projects
  • Familiarity with reading and interpreting FAR/DFARS clauses, government property regulations, contractual requirements, and monetary values
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to follow procedures independently
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfort working under guidance from senior staff while exercising judgment in day-to-day coordination and recordkeeping

Nice To Haves

  • Active DOD Security Clearance
  • Experience with property management systems or reporting tools (e.g., PIEE, IUID registry)
  • Membership in the National Property Management Association (NPMA) and related certifications
  • Experience providing support or guidance to teams on government property compliance

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate & Support Program Teams – Serve as the main point of contact for program personnel, ensuring day-to-day activities across all 22 elements/outcomes of government property are completed properly and documented according to company procedures. This includes Acquisition, Receiving, Identification, Utilization, Movement, Storage, Maintenance, Disposal, and related subcontractor activities.
  • Maintain Records & Submit Reports – Oversee property records, track follow-ups, and submit required reports, including LTDD, IUID registry, Plant Clearance, and other documentation needed for compliance.
  • Oversight & Compliance Support – Track and monitor program adherence to property management processes, including Written Procedures, Self-Assessments, Physical Inventory, Excess Property, Consumption, Storage Commingling, and Property Closeout. Guide program personnel on documentation and compliance, and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Issue Resolution & Continuous Improvement – Identify and track Discrepancies Incident to Shipment or other gaps, support corrective actions, and recommend improvements to maintain accurate, auditable property records.
