Are you up to the challenge? As the Government Property Specialist, youll support government property throughout its lifecycle. This entry-level role includes identifying and tagging government assets, approving outgoing and incoming shipments, and maintaining accurate property records. As a member of the Government Property Management team, youll work closely with property custodians in completing the annual inventory and the dispositioning of property, etc. This role sometimes requires heavy lifting and working in a warehouse environment part of the time, while primarily working in an office space. Other responsibilities might include supporting DCMA, other customer representatives, and company personnel in matters pertaining to property management. The candidate for this role will also assist in the performance of audits and internal assessments of customer property. Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in a related specialized area or equivalent experience
  • Understanding of IFS or the ability to learn new programs
  • Strong computer skills and well versed in Microsoft Suite
  • Demonstrates the ability carry out functions in Excel, such as Vlookup, pivot tables, formatting, etc.
  • Department of DefenseSecret security clearance ispreferred at time of hire. Candidates must be able to obtain a Secret clearance within a reasonable amount of time from date of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
