About The Position

Government Property Accountability Officer The Opportunity: Maintain and track compliant records of Government Property ( GP ) in AssetSmart. Ensure proper receipt, tagging, tracking, storage, use, and disposition of GP. Lead and support GP internal audits. Lead, support, and c ond uct periodic inventories, and report lost, damaged, or destroyed property. Support proposal reviews for GP clauses and requirements. Develop, c ond uct, and provide training and guidance to program managers regarding the proper use and handling of GP. Implement process improvement. Develop and maintain stakeholder relationships. Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience working with GP lifecycle requirements
  • Experience using AssetSmart, PIEE, or Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
  • Experience with lifecycle planning
  • Knowledge of FAR 52.245-1, DFAR, and GP regulations, ensuring compliance and supporting system assessments
  • Ability to utilize analytics and metrics dashboarding
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • HS diploma or GED
  • U.S. citizenship is required

Nice To Haves

  • 5+ years of experience in GP management
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills, including collaboration skills
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Government Property Certifications such as CPPA or CPPS Certification

  • The projected compensation range for this position is $69,400.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD).
