About The Position

Amentum is currently seeking a Logistician, Property Accountability Specialist to join our team at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD to support our customer, Project Manager Intelligence Systems & Analytics (PM IS&A), TITAN, a state-of-the-art, AI-enabled ground station for the Army. This position will be co-located with the customers and other contractors in the Government office spaces. This is a full‐time position, Monday through Friday. Flexibility around core hours. Travel may occur outside of normal core hours (less than 15%) and may include locations within and outside of the continental United States. Job Duties and Responsibilities: Ensure the proper management, accountability, and transfer of all Government Furnished Equipment (GFE), ranging from unclassified to TS/SCI, throughout its lifecycle within the TITAN program. Serve as subject matter expert in government property management regulations and procedures, with a strong understanding of working in classified environments. GFE Requirements Coordination: Collaborate with engineering, logistics, and program management teams to identify, request, and track all GFE required for the successful development, testing, and fielding of the TITAN system. Property Management & Accountability: Manage the complete lifecycle of all GFE for the TITAN program, including receipt, identification, records management, storage, use, and disposition. Records and Systems Management: Maintain accurate and auditable records for all accountable property in a designated Accountable Property System of Record (APSR) and other property management software. Ensure all transactions are documented in accordance with FAR, DFARS, and other relevant regulations. Property Transfer and Coordination: Coordinate the transfer of GFE between government agencies, contractors, and various program sites, ensuring proper documentation and authorization for all movements. Classified Material Handling: Implement and enforce strict protocols for the handling, storage, and transfer of classified materials and equipment up to the TS/SCI level. This includes conducting security inspections and ensuring all items are properly marked and safeguarded. Inventory and Audits: Plan and conduct regular physical inventories of all GFE, reconciling any discrepancies and reporting findings to the Government Property Administrator. Compliance and Reporting: Ensure full compliance with all government regulations for property management, including FAR Part 45, DFARS Part 245, and DoD policies. Prepare and submit all required property reports. Liaison and Support: Serve as the primary point of contact for all property-related matters within the TITAN program, liaising with government counterparts, program managers, and other contractors to ensure seamless support. Excess and Surplus Property: Manage the disposition of excess and surplus property in accordance with government procedures, including coordinating demilitarization or other disposal requirements for sensitive or classified items.

Requirements

  • At least six (6) years of related work experience or Certified Professional Logistician (CPL) certificate with three (3) years of related experience.
  • Must have a US Government Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility. Please note US Citizenship is required to maintain a Top Secret Clearance.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent technical, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Direct experience in planning, developing and executing program logistics activities from conceptual stage through life cycle of product. Includes ILS, technical documentation: Basis of Issue Planning, LIN and NSN assignment, Type Designation requests, Maintenance Master Data File submissions, Bill of Materials development, Technical Manual validation and verification, RAM, CDRL review of FMECA, FTA, LORA, SORA, etc.
  • Direct experience with coordination of subcontractors and field service personnel to achieve objectives. Includes demonstrated examples of logistics problem resolutions, compilation of data on standardization, and experience with interchangeability of parts to expedite logistic activities.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Degree in Logistics, Business, Engineering or related technical field desired.
  • Prior experience as a SETA contractor supporting a major DoD acquisition program.
  • Familiarity with the TITAN program or similar AI-enabled military systems.
  • Experience with the disposition of high-risk and export-controlled property.
  • Certification in Government Property Management (e.g., Certified Professional Property Specialist/Administrator - CPPS/CPPA).
