About The Position

Arcetyp LLC is a growing small business that provides a broad range of consulting services to US Federal Government, US Military, and Commercial clients. Services include Management & IT Consulting, Program & Project Management, and Professional & Admin Services. For a client engagement we have need to fill a position for a Mid-Level GovCon Business Development Lead for IT Services.

Requirements

  • 10 to 12 years' experience in operations and Business Development in support of Federal clients
  • Proven experience with a large IT services provider.
  • Proven experience leading a team in capture and winning projects in excess of $25m including a history of single award wins.
  • College degree from an accredited university or relevant experience can be substituted for a degree.
  • Experience growing a team.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience with NASA, DOD or the Intelligence Community preferred

Responsibilities

  • Identifying, researching, and analyzing business opportunities, consistent with the organization's long-range and strategic plans.
  • Responsible for maintaining relationships with existing clients and developing new client contacts.
  • Participates in development of marketing and business plans, strategy implementation, and overseeing and controlling the business development budget and forecasts for defined area of responsibility.
  • Responsible for the management and execution of the full BD life-cycle process across multiple simultaneous pursuits and proposals.
  • Develop a plan for securing knowledge and understanding of the customer's requirements, issues, and needs during the pursuit and capture phases.
  • Coordinate meetings with customers, competitors, clients, and teammates to develop market insight on requirements, acquisition strategy, acquisition timing, and contract vehicle choices and leads white paper and RFI responses.
