About The Position

As a Gourmet Vendeur in the Patisserie at Bellagio, you will be responsible for preparing, presenting, and selling fresh pastries, desserts, and beverage offerings while providing warm, attentive service. Through product knowledge, attention to detail, and genuine hospitality, you will help create memorable moments for every guest who visits this elegant café experience.

Requirements

• Is 21+ years of age
• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
• 2+ Years of Prior Relevant Experience as a food handler in a similar, high-volume, fast paced restaurant environment

Responsibilities

• Exhibit proper knowledge, selling techniques and service delivery of all items on the menu
• Communicate with management, chefs and culinary staff in order to fulfill and address any issues or needs requested by guests and or other employees
• Take and input orders into micros, receive payment and make proper change, complete required transactions, and categorize tendered receipts by media type
• Prepare and serve food and beverage items to guest as necessary
• Refill viennoiserie, pastries, gelatos, ice coolers, reach in beverage coolers, reach in pantry coolers and condiment drawer
• Be aware of expiration date for cookies and other confectionery
• Maintain the cleanliness and the appearance of the front, dining, back and all storage areas
• Use and clean equipment such as juicer, coffee maker, toaster, panini machine, blender, soda machine, oven and steamer
• Unload warehouse order and stock the order in designated storage
