About The Position

We’re looking for a Google Data Architect who is passionate about cloud technologies, modern data engineering, and building solutions that make a real impact across the enterprise. This role is ideal for someone who has a solid foundation in data engineering, analytics, or cloud development and is ready to take the next step into architectural design on the Google Cloud Platform (GCP). In this role, you’ll work closely with senior architects and engineering teams to help design, build, and optimize cloud‑native data solutions that fuel analytics, operations, and digital experiences across the business. Support Data Architecture & Solution Design Translate business requirements into data models, integration patterns, and architecture components—aligned with the enterprise practices defined in the broader Data Architect job family. Contribute to conceptual, logical, and physical data model development for analytics, APIs, and operational workloads. Build & Evolve Cloud‑Native Data Pipelines Design and enhance scalable ingestion and transformation pipelines using GCP services such as BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, Dataflow, and Cloud Composer. Help modernize data flows by applying cloud‑native patterns, echoing the enterprise emphasis on standardizing and maturing data delivery frameworks. Apply Data Quality, Governance & Security Practices Support data governance and quality efforts through metadata practices, lineage, and controlled data access. Apply secure‑by‑design principles across data pipelines and storage layers. Collaborate Across Teams Work with data engineers, analysts, product teams, and senior architects to implement solutions and refine technical approaches. Participate in architecture discussions and reviews, contributing to the evolution of enterprise data standards. Learn & Grow in Cloud Architecture Expand your knowledge of GCP’s data and compute ecosystem. Develop architectural reasoning skills through mentorship and exposure to enterprise‑scale workloads. Grow your capabilities to progress within the Data Architecture job family, which supports career pathing across multiple levels.
