As a Data Architect within PNC's Technology organization, you will be based in Dallas, TX, Pittsburg PA, Cleveland, OH or Denver, CO. The role involves designing, developing, and optimizing data warehouses with flexible and scalable data and ETL architecture to support business users and Business Intelligence (BI) applications. It also includes analyzing business intelligence data to make recommendations for data warehouse growth and integration, capturing requirements from IT and business customers for data warehouse architecture design, and providing technical guidance to ensure solutions align with architecture and framework. The Data Architect leads and consults on the implementation and integration of data warehouses, ensuring solutions meet organizational quality and integrity standards. PNC employees are expected to be customer-focused and adept at managing risk, adhering to PNC's Enterprise Risk Management Framework.

Requirements

  • University / college degree, with 5+ years of industry-relevant experience (or a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience, including military service).

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and optimize data warehouses, with flexible and scalable data and ETL architecture, to support business users and Business Intelligence (BI) applications.
  • Analyze business intelligence data and make recommendations for data warehouse growth and integration an application/business function.
  • Work with IT and business customers to capture requirements for designing the data warehouse architecture.
  • Provide support and technical guidance to ensure the solutions are aligned with the architecture and framework.
  • Lead and consult on the implementation and integration of data warehouses; ensure the solution meets organizational quality and integrity standards.
  • Be Customer Focused - Knowledgeable of the values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations in all business decisions and able to leverage that information in creating customized customer solutions.
  • Manage Risk - Assess and effectively manage all of the risks associated with their business objectives and activities to ensure they adhere to and support PNC's Enterprise Risk Management Framework.
