About The Position

Employment Opportunity Fox Chapel Golf Club. This is a Seasonal position requiring 30-40 hours per week availability. The associate will maintain a visible presence in the Golf Shop and on the sales floor, promoting goodwill and exceptional hospitality to members and guests. Responsibilities include maintaining a clean, refreshed, uncluttered, and organized Golf Shop and storage room, assisting with all aspects of the special-order program including timely communication with the customer, and assisting with monthly inventory. The role also involves updating and maintaining all vendor contact information when necessary, assisting with the receipt of incoming merchandise and tagging corresponding merchandise, and changing mannequins and displays. The associate must learn and understand the rules of the club to be able to answer the telephone to reserve tee times, lessons, and assist with tournament signups. Professional dress and a well-groomed appearance in accordance with staff grooming standards are required. Other duties may be provided.

Requirements

Seasonal position - 30-40 hours per week availability
Must possess a friendly and positive personality with a focus on building relationships with members and staff
Mandatory computer expertise; proficient in Microsoft Word/Publisher/PowerPoint/Excel
Possess excellent communications skills and the ability to manage multiple projects/tasks at the same time

Nice To Haves

Retail experience preferred
Basic golf knowledge is preferred
