About The Position

Deliver high quality recreation services for residents, visitors and the St. Charles community by adhering to the District’s safety and administrative policies and procedures. Knowledge, Skills & Experience This position is well suited for someone with a pleasant personality. Work record that shows reliability, initiative, productivity, team player and desire to work with public.

Requirements

High School diploma as minimum.
Must be at least 21 years of age due to alcohol sales.
Currently certified or ability to obtain all food and beverage certifications through on-line or classroom participation.
Retail experience with cash register operation, program registration and phone reservations.
Maintain DCFS mandated reporter certificate or obtain certification within 30 days of hire.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of game of golf and general golf course operations is preferred.

Responsibilities

Work harmoniously with Park District personnel in an enthusiastic and cooperative manner.
Effectively communicate both orally and through computer generated reports.
Effectively react to problem areas, whether public or employee related.
Work to accomplish all tasks in a timely and professional manner.
Interpret and apply the Park District and golf course policies, rules and regulations.
Report any serious problems and/or situations involving the golf course and its operations to the Assistant Golf Pro or Manager.
Follow all safety procedures that pertain to the golf course operation and the Park District’s Safety Program.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
