Grand Casino Hinckley Golf Operations Manager DEPARTMENT: Hospitality REPORTS TO: VP of Hotel, Resort and Retail Create Experiences. Lead the Game. Inspire Every Swing. At Grand National Golf Club, the Golf Operations Manager leads seasonal golf operations with precision, enthusiasm, and a love for the game. This role is perfect for a hands-on leader who thrives in the rhythm of the golf season—balancing Guest experience, team leadership, and operational excellence from the first tee-off of spring to the final putt of fall. What You’ll Do Seasonal Operations + Leadership Lead day-to-day golf operations during the active season, ensuring smooth tee times, excellent Guest service, and a welcoming clubhouse environment. Recruit, train, and supervise seasonal associates including Guest Service, Outside Service, and Beverage Cart teams. Maintain high professional standards of golf etiquette, terminology, and service throughout the course. Oversee course readiness and coordinate closely with grounds, hotel, and resort teams for seamless seasonal openings and closings. Guest Experience + Service Excellence Deliver a memorable golf experience—greeting Guests, assisting with reservations, and resolving issues with professionalism and care. Manage check-ins, payments, and tee time coordination accurately and efficiently. Keep the clubhouse and beverage cart areas stocked, organized, and Guest-ready. Monitor course pace of play and step in to ensure timely and enjoyable rounds. Business Operations + Retail Management Assist in developing and managing the seasonal operating budget, ensuring all functions operate within approved amounts. Oversee retail operations—maintaining product inventory, ordering merchandise, and tracking sales. Prepare daily cash reports, handle deposits, and maintain accurate records for seasonal activity. Manage clubhouse security procedures including key control, opening/closing duties, and cash handling. What You Bring High School Diploma or GED required. 3+ years of progressively responsible experience in the supervision and operation of a public or private golf course. Ability to obtain a Gaming Regulatory Authority (GRA) license and follow all applicable DGRs. Mille Lacs Band Member and American Indian preference will be exercised in the hiring process. Seasonal Rhythm Primary operational season: March through November (weather-dependent). Pre- and post-season preparation may include staff hiring, vendor coordination, budgeting, and facility readiness work. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 3+ years of progressively responsible experience in the supervision and operation of a public or private golf course.
  • Ability to obtain a Gaming Regulatory Authority (GRA) license and follow all applicable DGRs.
  • Flexible schedule required, including weekends and holidays during peak months.
