About The Position

The purpose of this classification is to perform automotive repair and preventative maintenance on Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government's vehicles and equipment. This position maintains golf carts and various golf course equipment.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Four (4) years of related experience
• Additional years of related education may substitute for years of experience
• Valid Driver's License required to qualify

Responsibilities

• Repairs, maintains and/or operates vehicles and equipment, including performing preventative maintenance
• Fabricates parts and components as needed to make repairs
• Maintains records of work performed
• Purchases and maintains inventory of parts and supplies
• Performs related work as assigned
