About The Position

The Golf Cart Attendant maintains the cart fleet, manages the driving range, handles club rentals, and supports daily course operations. This position serves as a frontline representative of the facility, providing courteous assistance to golfers, and upholding all safety and service standards. The attendant contributes to a positive guest experience by delivering prompt, professional service and maintaining the overall cleanliness and readiness of carts, equipment, and surrounding work areas.

Must follow IMGR&C team member handbook and golf course rules
Must maintain a clean, neat, and professional appearance at all times while on duty
Must be able to walk and stand on hard surfaces for extended periods of time
Must be able to bend and twist at the waist on a regular basis
Must be able to reach above and below shoulder height with regular frequency
Must be able to grasp, push, pull, carry and lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds on a regular basis, and greater weights on an occasional basis
Must have and maintain a valid drivers’ license
Must possess sufficient motor skills to operate carts and other equipment as required

Responsibilities

Prepare, stage, and organize golf carts for daily play
Clean carts thoroughly after each use, including removing trash, wiping surfaces, and sanitizing touch points
Charge electric carts and monitor battery levels throughout the day
Inspect carts for mechanical issues, safety concerns, or damage
Document and report any maintenance needs or incidents to management
Greet golfers promptly and courteously upon arrival
Assist with loading and unloading golf bags
Provide course information, directions, and general assistance
Maintain a professional, friendly presence around the bag drop, staging area, and clubhouse
Support tournament operations, including bag handling and player flow
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cart barn, staging area, and surrounding grounds
Restock carts with scorecards, pencils, sand bottles, and other supplies
Empty trash bins and maintain cleanliness around the clubhouse and practice areas
Assist with setting up and breakdown for events, tournaments, and special activities
Follow all operational procedures and safety guidelines
Document and report any accidents or guest concerns
Range setup, maintaining the range, cleanliness of range balls
Issuing and inspecting club rentals
