About The Position

Snout is one of the fastest growing wellness plan providers in the veterinary space, trusted by clinics across the U.S. We’re a small but mighty startup team of <30 employees. We’re on the lookout for an experienced Go-to-Market (GTM) Recruiter based in the Metro Detroit area in Michigan to own hiring for our Marketing, Business Development, Sales and Clinic Success teams along with being an office manager. You must be able to commute reliably to our Troy, Michigan office headquarters. As a Go-to-Market (GTM) Recruiter, you’ll be helping to build recruitment processes for our Marketing, Business Development (BDR), Sales and Clinic Success teams, mostly from scratch. You’ll source, build pipelines of qualified candidates, interview, schedule interviews in a full cycle recruitment position while championing Snout’s mission. Additionally, you’ll act as an office manager and support our onsite HQ team. Your key GTM hires will power Snout’s growth for all of next year as we scale and aim to smash our ambitious revenue targets for 2026. Requirements

  • 3+ years of overall recruitment experience
  • 1+ years of Go-to-Market recruitment experience (BDR, Sales, Marketing, etc.)
  • End-to-end recruitment experience from sourcing, interviewing, and closing
  • Experience using a modern ATS like Ashby, Gem, Greenhouse, etc.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A fast learner with an ability to ramp up quickly

  • High volume recruitment experience
  • Series A/B/C/D startup experience
  • A strong track record of GTM fills

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Founding Recruiter and Hiring Managers to understand role requirements, develop job descriptions, and create targeted recruitment strategies.
  • Market, source and build a pipeline of qualified candidates for GTM roles
  • Manage the full cycle recruitment process, including posting job ads, reviewing resumes, conducting phone screens, and coordinating interviews
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience by maintaining clear communication, providing timely feedback, and delivering a seamless interview process.
  • Track and report on key recruiting metrics, maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in our ATS (Gem)
  • Handle day-to-day office management and assist with people operations projects as needed
