About The Position

The GMS Development Lead is a critical leadership role within one of our programs, responsible for driving development activities for Generation Management System (GMS) functionalities, including AGC/LFC optimization and related modules. This position ensures seamless collaboration across global teams and alignment with strategic objectives for the Japanese market.

Requirements

  • Experience leading or coordinating development efforts for complex, mission‑critical systems (preferably in GMS, AGC/LFC, or related energy management domains).
  • Very good understanding of GMS/AGC principles, Network Manager solutions, and high‑level system architecture.
  • Proven ability to work across cross‑functional teams (Development, QA, PMO) and manage multi‑stream dependencies.
  • Experience in stakeholder management, including collaboration with global teams and external partners.
  • Strong skills in project coordination, including scope, schedule, risk, and resource alignment.
  • Very good to facilitate design reviews, oversee feature specifications, and maintain technical consistency.
  • Demonstrated ability to create a collaborative, engaged team environment.
  • Commitment to compliance, safety, and integrity in all aspects of work.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and plan the development and integration of GMS components within the JIEMS solution.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Development, PMO, QA) to ensure timely delivery of features and compliance with specifications and Quality requirements.
  • Assist senior program and project management in managing scope, schedule, budget, and risk for JIEMS related GMS elements with a focus on schedule coordination internally and with external partners
  • Act as the primary technical liaison with internal and external stakeholders, including SIBU and global development teams.
  • Facilitate communication and alignment on requirements, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Provide deep domain knowledge in GMS/AGC and Network Manager solutions.
  • Oversee design reviews, feature specifications, and ensure adherence to high-level architecture.
  • Support resource planning and onboarding of contingent workers or partner teams.
  • Foster a collaborative environment with 100% engagement from all team members.
  • Comply with policies, practices, and procedures about technical tasks, customers, and stakeholders.
