About The Position

The GMP Materials and Samples Associate plays a critical role in supporting day-to-day laboratory operations at Pharmaron's Exton, PA site. This position ensures the accurate ordering, receipt, tracking, storage, and disposal of GMP materials and client samples, directly contributing to regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, and uninterrupted lab workflows. Requirements

  • Associate degree in pharmaceutical sciences, life sciences or a related scientific field
  • 0-1 year of experience in materials coordination, sample management, inventory control, or laboratory operations (GMP experience a plus, but not required)
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly explain processes and information to diverse stakeholders
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a regulated environment
  • Professional demeanor with a high level of integrity, discretion, and respect for confidentiality
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented laboratory setting

Responsibilities

  • Order, receive, and document GMP-grade reagents and consumables within designated raw material systems and programs
  • Receive, log, label, and track client samples and reference standards in accordance with GMP and internal SOPs
  • Maintain appropriate inventory levels of raw materials, consumables, and reagents to support continuous laboratory operations
  • Perform routine and quarterly inventory counts of raw materials and reference standards, ensuring data accuracy and compliance
  • Support client audits and regulatory inspections by preparing documentation and responding to material-related inquiries
  • Collaborate daily with cross-functional teams including scientists, Quality, management, legal, and accounting
  • Adhere to all safety, quality, and compliance requirements
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support site operations
