Requirements

ASE Certification is required
5+ years of Service Technician experience is preferred.
A-level qualifications in diagnostics, electrical, and engine repair.
Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment and learn new repair procedures.
A positive, friendly attitude with a team-oriented and customer-service mentality.
Minimum high school diploma or GED
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Nice To Haves

GM Certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform work specified on repair orders efficiently and according to dealership procedures.
Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, electrical, steering, brakes, and air conditioning.
Test-drive vehicles and use diagnostic tools to test components and systems.
Communicate directly with Service Advisors to keep customers informed of necessary services and repair time estimates.
Execute repairs under warranty according to manufacturer specifications.
