What this job involves The Global Vendor Strategy & Performance Manager plays a critical role in overseeing third-party vendors supporting accommodations, furniture, and move-related work for JLL. This position is responsible for vendor relationship optimization, ensuring contract compliance, implementing performance evaluation frameworks, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across global operations. You'll serve as the primary liaison between internal stakeholders and external vendors, managing performance metrics, coordinating improvement plans, and ensuring service delivery excellence across the organization's vendor network. Your day-to-day tasks will include: Collecting and analyzing monthly vendor performance reports based on mutually agreed criteria with stakeholders, including client’s leadership, and generating comprehensive reporting for leadership teams Developing and maintaining vendor performance evaluation frameworks, scorecards, and monitoring systems to ensure consistent assessment across global operations Conducting regular vendor performance reviews and coordinating performance improvement plans and corrective actions when service standards are not met Managing vendor onboarding and offboarding processes while optimizing ongoing relationships to maximize value, compliance, and service quality Ensuring timely communication of contract changes, new vendor additions, and pricing updates to delivery teams across global operations Serving as the escalation point for delivery teams encountering vendor service issues, coordinating swift resolution and implementing corrective actions Supporting stakeholder involvement in contract negotiations, vendor selection processes, and cost management optimization strategies

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in vendor management or supplier relationship management
  • Proven track record overseeing third-party vendor programs in accommodations, furniture, and/or move management sectors
  • Strong expertise in vendor relationship management, including performance evaluation, contract compliance, and escalation resolution processes
  • Demonstrated experience developing and implementing performance evaluation systems for global or multi-site vendor networks
  • Advanced understanding of quality assurance standards, cost management principles, and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Strong analytical abilities to assess performance trends and identify optimization opportunities using quantitative and qualitative data
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills for coordinating with internal teams and external vendor partners

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in a matrixed, international corporate environment with cross-functional teams
  • Background supporting contract negotiation processes and vendor selection activities
  • Familiarity with conducting detailed contract compliance monitoring and managing documentation such as certificates of insurance and regulatory compliance requirements
  • Knowledge of workplace services, corporate real estate, or facilities management operations
  • Experience implementing vendor quality standards and monitoring processes that drive measurable service improvements
  • Proficiency with vendor management systems, performance tracking tools, and reporting platforms
  • Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2) or supply chain/procurement credentials (CPSM, CSCMP)
