The Global Transportation Analyst will be responsible for all aspects of an organization's logistics management function to control, deliver, and distribute products and materials to the destination, along with, cost, quality and service levels provided by all freight transportation service providers, including all truckload, less than truckload, ocean freight, small package and air freight modes, as well as, custom brokers and all other related service providers. The Global Transportation Manager also oversees critical and related inventory, distribution, and transportation operations that support the achievement of organizational goals and KPI's for product delivery and customer satisfaction. This position will report to the Vice President of Operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • 3+ years transportation operations experience.
  • 2+ years international logistics experience.
  • Excellent hybrid work communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Extensive knowledge of current supply chain principles, practices, and regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the company's transportation operations, including: Domestic parcel, Ocean freight, International air freight, LTL, and FTL.
  • Manage Champro's transportation spend.
  • Manage the business relationship with all transportation partners: UPS, FedEx, freight forwarders, customs brokers, LTL and FTL carriers.
  • Monitor the performance of transportation providers to ensure customer satisfaction and absolute reliability.
  • Collaborate closely with parcel carriers to ensure the use of services that align best with the company's needs across all distribution centers (Illinois, California, Dominican Republic).
  • Work closely with global suppliers to ensure the seamless movement of goods between numerous shipping points while determining the best shipping methods.
  • Manage and monitor the end-to-end supply chain movement of all stock, raw material, and miscellaneous shipments from various countries and distribution centers.
  • Ongoing logistics projects focused on driving continuous improvement and enhancing the company's overall performance.
  • Ensure cross functional management with various departments, including: distribution, inventory planning, information technology, customer service, accounting, product management, and sales to ensure seamless operations.
  • Create, review, and monitor monthly reports, and audit freight bills.
  • Provide administrative oversight for daily tracking of shipments and sending alerts.
  • Provide administrative oversight for creating documents and providing them to brokers in a timely manner for all shipments.
  • Provide administrative oversight for ensuring proper documentation for all shipments is in the vendor portal.
