We are seeking a Global Server Administrator to support a large-scale enterprise server environment across multiple business units and global locations. This role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing both Windows and Linux server infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance across physical and virtual environments. Requirements

  • Strong experience with Windows Server Administration
  • Experience supporting enterprise server environments (physical & virtual)
  • Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, systems, and networking fundamentals
  • Experience with server troubleshooting, performance tuning, and patching
  • Knowledge of backup, disaster recovery, and system resilience
  • Ability to manage and resolve technical tickets and incidents independently
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • May include weekend hours to work on servers during non-business hours

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Linux operating systems (RHEL, Ubuntu, etc.)
  • Experience with virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V, etc.)
  • Familiarity with enterprise monitoring and ticketing tools (Ops Ramp / Dell Open Manage for monitoring, JIRA for ticketing)
  • A hands-on problem solver who can own issues from start to finish
  • Someone comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-availability environment
  • A team player who can collaborate across departments while also working independently
  • A professional who values process, documentation, and continuous improvement

Responsibilities

  • Support and maintain a global server environment (physical and virtual)
  • Perform server provisioning, configuration, patching, and upgrades
  • Troubleshoot and resolve server-related incidents and service requests
  • Monitor system performance, backups, and overall infrastructure health
  • Manage hardware lifecycle, inventory, and documentation
  • Coordinate with development and IT teams on system testing and deployments
  • Perform firmware updates and OS/application patch management
  • Ensure backup and disaster recovery processes are functioning properly
  • Maintain accurate configuration and system documentation
  • Provide technical support to internal users and cross-functional teams
