The Small Business Program is seeking a Global Supply Chain Intern to join our dynamic Small Business team based in Reston, VA with potential for hybrid/remote flexibility. The Intern will gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced corporate environment, collaborate with Subcontract Administrators, Contract Managers, and Compliance Experts to tackle real-world challenges that support Leidos' enterprise goals. As an Intern, you will expand your skills in small business, compliance, and strategic initiatives building expertise that sets you apart in the business world.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree from an accredited university in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio).
  • Strong organizational skills, keen attention to detail, ability to multi-task, prioritize deadlines, and seek guidance when needed.
  • U.S. Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct spot audits on purchase order files to ensure compliance with small business regulations.
  • Collaborate with teams to update and validate data for bi-annual small business reporting.
  • Support administrative tasks for upcoming small business audits, including data collection, validation, and organization.
  • Research government small business programs and socio-economic incentives to add value to Leidos' initiatives.
  • Attend at least one small business outreach event to network with suppliers and discover how their capabilities strengthen our supply chain.
  • Assist in enhancing tools and workflows for small business reporting across federal, local government, and commercial markets.
  • Partner with our Small Business team and systems experts to improve internal processes and drive program excellence.
