Position Description: Develop and implement global sourcing strategies and manage supplier relationships, performance measurement and improvement for electrical and electronic commodities. Develop and lead supplier selection process (including RFI/RFQ/RFP) for new electrical component suppliers. Negotiate and manage service costs, including NRE, associated with new product introduction. Negotiate assurance of supply, lead time commitments, and cost competitiveness with suppliers. Partner with internal Engineering, Product Management, Quality, and Manufacturing Operations teams to develop improvement plans and drive improvements throughout the product life cycle. Establish end-to-end partner performance measurements and scorecards and hold suppliers accountable to continually improve cost, quality, and delivery. Collaborate with the legal team on manufacturing service agreements and/or statements of work to ensure contract compliance. Conduct executive-level quarterly business reviews (QBR) with critical suppliers to review mutual objectives, implementation, process, and performance evaluation. Manage and improve existing suppliers and help map out the future commodity management supplier strategy. Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with software service providers, including negotiation and management of service and support agreements with software service providers.
