About The Position

The Global Sourcing Intern, Product Development is responsible for supporting the Logistics team on a temporary basis over a multi-week program, typically 8-12 weeks depending on student schedule and department support needed. We provide training, guidance and support as well as the opportunity to experience the retail and e-Commerce industry from the inside and gain valuable work experience.

Requirements

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Fashion, Design, Merchandising, or related field.
Strong attention to detail, organizational, analytic, and problem-solving skills
Strong desire to learn along with professional drive
Ability to take direction and absorb information quickly
Administrative skills which must include excellent verbal and written communication skills
Responsive to staff needs, including professionalism, respect and consideration of others

Responsibilities

Conduct a variety of general administrative & development tasks for a Product Development team.
Monitor tracking charts and production status reports.
Help maintain the fabric swatch library and sample racks.
Support Product Quality efforts.
Assist in the preparation of samples for development presentations, management meetings, etc.
May perform data entry activities, database management operations and file maintenance.
May perform or support special Sustainability or Legal projects.
Research competitor offerings and compile documentation by building spreadsheets or power point decks.
Participate in intern cohort activities including: professional development workshops, warehouse tours, and meetings with leadership.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Comply with all policies and standards.
