A Day in the Life Join Medtronic Diabetes, a leader in the most exciting and dynamic medical device segment. As the Senior Group Product Manager, you will hold a pivotal leadership role, steering the global strategy for our Smart MDI (Multiple Daily Injection) systems, Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM), and the overarching Digital Experience. You will lead a high-performing team to define the roadmap for our next-generation ecosystem, ensuring a seamless integration of hardware and software. You will collaborate with R&D, Clinical, and Regional partners to deliver a common digital architecture that empowers patients, care partners, and healthcare professionals. Your mission is to drive global launch excellence and transform how the world manages diabetes through data-driven, user-centric innovation. This position is an exciting opportunity to work with Medtronic's Diabetes business. A Day in The Life Global Strategy & Launch Excellence Visionary Leadership: Lead the end-to-end global product strategy for the Smart MDI and CGM portfolios, ensuring alignment with the broader Digital Experience ecosystem Commercial Execution: Own the "Launch Excellence" framework, partnering with regional marketing teams to ensure successful market entry, adoption, and sustained growth Business Planning: Generate complex business cases, portfolio value assessments, and long-range strategic plans to secure investment for future-gen platforms Market Intelligence: Conduct deep-dive competitive analysis and market research to anticipate industry shifts in digital health and smart insulin delivery Product Development & Digital Innovation Digital Experience Stewardship: Oversee the evolution of software applications and digital touchpoints to ensure a frictionless, "consumer-grade" patient experience VOC Mastery: Translate complex Voice of Customer (VOC) data into prioritized product requirements (MRDs) that balance clinical outcomes with user delight Claims & Evidence: Lead the development of differentiated clinical and economic claims to drive global reimbursement and competitive advantage Lifecycle Management: Determine the profitability and viability of hardware enhancements and software updates, managing the portfolio from concept to obsolescence Cross-Functional Influence & Team Leadership Mentorship: Lead and develop a team of product managers, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and professional growth Executive Presence: Represent the product group in high-stakes presentations to senior leadership, global medical conferences, and key account visits Strategic Partnerships: Collaborate with Business Development to evaluate M&A, licensing, and digital health partnership opportunities Must Have: Minimum Requirements To be considered for this role, please ensure the minimum requirements are evident in your applicant profile. Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$158,400.00 - $237,600.00 This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP). The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
