About The Position

As a Global Product Support Engineer at Lam, you're the backbone of technical support for field engineers, technicians, and product support personnel. Your expertise is crucial in diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, and debugging complex semiconductor equipment. Your swift action in responding to situations is critical in resolving issues and ensuring satisfaction of Lam’s valued customers.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 12 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 8 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 5 years experience; or equivalent experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Semiconductor fab experience is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Process/Productivity engineer who will provide technical support to field process engineers and product support personnel who are troubleshooting thin film deposition chambers for gaps in process capability, chamber matching, defects, and yield failure issues
  • Responds to situations where first-line product support has failed to isolate or fix problems related to process capability gaps
  • Reports process-related enhancements and continuous design improvements to design engineering
  • Supports business-important customer new tool process qualification, training and BKM document creation
  • Expertise in statistical process control and data analysis
  • Customer escalation management and problem solving skills
  • Semiconductor fab experience is preferred
  • Travel up to 15%-20% both domestic and international
