Global Medical Affairs Lead- Infectious & Immunity

The Global Medical Affairs Lead - Infection & Immunity will work closely with the International Business team (IBT) to create and execute the medical plan along with key initiatives and strategies to support the global utilization of related Roche Molecular Diagnostics products.
Requirements
- You hold a degree (MD, PhD, or PharmD or equivalent experience in diagnostics or pharmaceutical industry) with a specialized background in Virology, Immunology, or Infectious Diseases.
- You have 8+ years experience in the academic, diagnostic, pharmaceutical or healthcare industry
- You are comfortable with or willing to use AI tools in your day to day work
- You have a proven track record of leading, influencing and strategic decision making in a matrixed environment
Nice To Haves
- You will have prior experience working in a lab environment and/or molecular assay development
Responsibilities
- Oversees the global medical and scientific strategy for key assets in the Infection & Immunity portfolio
- Maintains a close partnership with global Access, Commercial, Regulatory, Clinical Development and R&D teams to translate emerging scientific trends into actionable medical strategies and evidence generation, ensuring Roche’s innovative diagnostic solutions meet evolving clinical needs and improve patient outcomes.
- Cultivate deep, peer-to-peer relationships with therapeutic area experts and collaborative groups to align scientific initiatives with global medical activities and organizational leadership commitments.
- Direct the execution of non-registrational clinical trials and IIS programs while facilitating open communication to align global study strategies across functional areas.
- Distill complex scientific insights into clear, compelling narratives for medical education and payer dossiers.
- Other responsibilities include supporting the global commercial success of Roche products.
