About The Position

The Global Learning team is responsible for developing, sourcing, curating, and delivering innovative learning solutions for Clarios employees around the globe. The Global Learning team is also accountable for building and reinforcing Clarios learning culture, developing competencies/skills and career development programs, while optimizing learning process, systems, and programs to deliver the best business outcomes. As a Global Learning Manager, you will lead overall program management for the Global Learning function, as well as supervise the Manufacturing Technology and Training Center (MTTC) Learning team. You will lead and execute enterprise-wide learning and institutional capability-building initiatives that support business strategy, operational excellence, and workforce readiness. You will deliver guidance on sophisticated learning programs, collaborate with customers, suppliers, vendors, and regional learning leaders, and ensure that learning solutions are effective, scalable, and consistently aligned with the organization's evolving needs. The Global Learning Manager plays a critical role in delivering innovation, driving measurable learning outcomes, improving employee and customer experience, continuously enhancing learning models, and driving multi-year roadmap continuity. How you will do it Enterprise Learning Strategy & Program Management Oversee global program management and learning governance to ensure learning solutions are scalable, repeatable, data‑informed, and optimized for global deployment. Prioritize instructional design resources and enterprise learning programs based on strategic importance, capability requirements, and workforce readiness needs. Serve as a global learning partner, aligning enterprise learning strategies with regional requirements to ensure a consistent, high‑quality learning experience worldwide. People Leadership & Team Development Supervise and develop the Manufacturing Technology & Training Center (MTTC) Learning team, providing coaching, performance support, workload prioritization, and strategic direction. Foster a strong learning culture across Clarios by role‑modeling continuous improvement, encouraging knowledge sharing, and promoting adoption of learning tools, technologies, and best practices. Stakeholder Engagement & External Partnerships Partner with business leaders, regional learning managers, and cross‑functional stakeholders to define learning objectives, assess needs, and align programs with global and regional priorities. Build and manage relationships with external partners, including vendors, academic institutions, suppliers, and customers - to source, co-create, or enhance learning solutions. Training Needs Assessment & Capability Development Conduct enterprise and regional training needs assessments to identify capability gaps, skill requirements, and performance challenges. Lead the development, refinement, and integration of Clarios competencies and skills frameworks to support talent development, learning paths, and skills assessment processes. Data, Measurement & Continuous Improvement Interpret skills, performance, and program data to measure learning effectiveness, assess business impact, diagnose capability gaps, and recommend data‑driven improvements. Advance learning models, delivery approaches, and operational processes by identifying opportunities for innovation through digital learning, technology adoption, content design, and workflow optimization. Learning Communications & Experience Management Lead global learning communication strategies to drive awareness, engagement, and adoption of key learning initiatives while ensuring consistent messaging and branding across regions. Plan and execute large‑scale global training events, overseeing logistics, communications, facilitation support, and post‑event evaluation to ensure high‑quality learner experiences. Systems, Governance & Content Management Manage governance and content strategy for the Global Learning SharePoint site, ensuring materials remain accurate, current, accessible, and aligned to global standards. Program & Project Management: Orchestrates full lifecycle delivery—plan, design, develop, execute, evaluate—across multiple concurrent programs. People Leadership & Team Development : Leads and develops the MTTC Learning team while role‑modeling a strong learning culture. Stakeholder Engagement & Influence in a Matrix: Aligns diverse global and regional leaders around shared objectives amid ambiguity. Change Management: Plans and executes the human side of change for new learning models, technologies, and processes. External Partnership & Vendor Management: Sources and co‑creates with vendors, universities, suppliers, and customers to accelerate capability building. Needs Assessment, Capability & Skills Architecture: Diagnoses capability gaps and operationalizes competencies/skills into pathways and assessments. Data Literacy, Measurement & Continuous Improvement: Uses skills, performance, and program data to judge effectiveness and business impact; iterates accordingly. Event Orchestration: Plans and delivers high‑visibility global learning events end‑to‑end.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required in Learning & Development, Education, Organizational Development, Business, or related field.
  • 8+ experience in learning, training, or talent development, including global or enterprise-level programs.
  • 3+ years in a management role.
  • An enthusiastic, high-energy leader with well-developed influencing skills with the confidence and ability to work at all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated experience leading complex learning projects and capability-building initiatives.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and collaboration skills across global and regional teams.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience measuring learning effectiveness and translating data into actionable insights.
  • Experience supervising or leading instructional design or learning professionals.
  • Ability to travel to the MTTC as needed.
  • Potential for international and local travel (10%)
