You’ll be the connector between project teams and leadership. Your ability to anticipate challenges, understand technical complexities, and navigate ambiguity will ensure projects move seamlessly from concept to market.

Requirements

  • Strong technical background in flavor science, fermentation, or related fields.
  • Proven ability to navigate ambiguity and influence across a matrix organization.
  • Expertise in both Waterfall and Agile project management methodologies.
  • Demonstrated success in building trust and driving innovation through collaboration.
  • Education: Master’s in Applied Science or Business OR PhD preferred.
  • Experience: 5+ years in the flavor or related industry.
  • Technical Background: Flavor science, fermentation, starter culture, or enzymes preferred.
  • Project Management: Formal training is a plus; proficiency in Waterfall or Agile environments required.
  • Skills: Strong technical aptitude and ability to “figure it out” in ambiguous situations.
  • Organizational agility and influencer skills.
  • Ability to anticipate challenges and understand technical aspects of complex projects.
  • Mindset: Collaborative, proactive, and passionate about elevating and diversifying team expertise.

Responsibilities

  • Initiate, plan, execute, and monitor complex innovation projects across I, C & D.
  • Prioritize key projects, allocate resources, and remove barriers to success.
  • Manage multiple programs and cross-functional initiatives concurrently.
  • Facilitate project status meetings and report updates to leaders and stakeholders.
  • Ensure project traceability through documentation and centralized tools.
  • Deliver PPMO updates and innovation progress aligned with stage-gate processes.
  • Conduct financial analyses to support strategic decision-making.
  • Manage a regional portfolio with 0–2 direct reports, ensuring cost control, compliance, and material availability.
  • Collaborate with regional C&D teams and functional leaders to drive business growth.
