Edwards’ groundbreaking work in transcatheter aortic heart valve replacement (TAVR) pioneered an innovative, life-changing solution for patients by offering heart valve replacement without the need for open heart surgery. Our Transcatheter Heart Valve (THV) business unit continues to partner with cardiologists and clinical teams to transform patient care with devices supported by clinical evidence. How you will make an impact: Support the Transcatheter Heart Valve (THV) Global Health Economics & Reimbursement (GHER) team. Gain hands-on experience in health economics and outcomes research (HEOR) within the medical device industry. Support key projects and initiatives that demonstrate the value of our products to stakeholders, including policy-makers, payers, and healthcare providers. Play a key role in the evidence messaging strategy and deployment of evidence generation initiatives to support expanding patient access to timely treatment of aortic stenosis. Understand how GHER supports the product development cycle through real-world evidence work. Experience an introduction to reimbursement initiatives globally, including US, Europe, and Asia Pacific.

Requirements

• Internship applicants must be enrolled in an accredited graduate business program or healthcare program for the entire duration of their internship. Examples include – MA in health economics, PhD in health economics, MPH, MHA, MA in Healthcare Decision Analysis.
• Must graduate December 2026 or later.
• Must be in good scholastic standing (3.5+ GPA or equivalent)
• Must be available to work 10-12 weeks full-time over the course of the summer. Preferred start in May.
• Strong interest in pursuing relevant industry experience within the healthcare and life sciences industry is a plus.
• Must not require company sponsorship for an employment-based visa now or in the future.
