ABOUT POLYPHONIC J&J MedTech is passionate about crafting the future of digital surgery by developing software products and solutions for hospitals, clinicians, and patients. These products will deliver a comprehensive digital surgery experience for J&J Med Tech customers and their patients from pre-operative care through post-operative support. BACKGROUND The Global Head of Special Projects is a senior execution leader responsible for driving high-impact, cross-functional initiatives that accelerate growth, strengthen the Polyphonic platform, and improve operational efficiency. This role operates at the intersection of strategy and execution, translating executive priorities into delivered outcomes across product, technology, partnerships, and global operations. This leader works directly with Polyphonic Practice leaders, IT, and R&D teams, regional leaders, and external partners to unblock complexity, align stakeholders, and ensure priority programs move from concept to scaled reality. The role is outcome-oriented, hands-on, and designed for someone who thrives in ambiguity and high-stakes environments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in strategic programs, digital health, enterprise technology, or healthcare.
  • Proven track record of building global partnerships that drove significant business and ecosystem impact.
  • Deep understanding of healthcare IT, cloud/AI platforms, data governance, and digital transformation in MedTech or life sciences.
  • Executive presence and ability to influence senior stakeholders across cultures and industries.
  • Strong negotiation, contract structuring, and governance experience.

  • Advanced degree (MBA, MS, or equivalent) strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Enterprise-Critical Initiative Delivery Lead a portfolio of time-bound, high-impact initiatives directly tied to Polyphonic’s growth, platform evolution, and financial performance.
  • Define scope, success metrics, milestones, and delivery plans for complex initiatives.
  • Drive initiatives through execution and closure.
  • High-Risk / High-Financial-Impact Programs Lead initiatives with material financial exposure, elevated execution risk, or strategic importance.
  • Identify risks early, structure mitigation plans, and drive timely decision-making.
  • Ensure leadership has clear visibility into progress, risks, and outcomes
  • Strategic Translation Convert leadership direction into actionable plans and execution roadmaps.
  • Provide concise, outcome-oriented updates and decision materials for senior leadership.
  • Maintain a single narrative and delivery thread across complex initiatives.
