About The Position

State Street Investment Management is seeking a Managing Director to lead the global ETF as a Service platform. The Global Head of EaaS will be responsible for scaling, industrializing and governing SSIM’s third party ETF manufacturing business across regions. The role will transform EaaS from a high growth initiative into a fully institutionalized global franchise with disciplined execution, margin control and scalable operating infrastructure. This role combines platform strategy, ETF structuring expertise, commercial oversight and cross functional execution leadership. It is a builder operator role, not purely a business development position. STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES The successful candidate will: Industrialize ETF Manufacturing: Build a scalable and repeatable global operating model across US and International. Standardize onboarding, structuring, capital markets support, lifecycle management and governance processes. Establish a Global Execution Framework: Create clear launch playbooks and service models by client segment including digital wealth platforms, banks, asset managers and fintech partners. Reduce time to market and improve execution consistency. Drive Structural Innovation: Develop scalable templates for co manufacturing, sub advisory and white label ETF structures. Integrate portfolio implementation capabilities, overlay capital markets and centralized trading frameworks where appropriate. Own Commercial and Margin Discipline: Implement a global pricing framework covering manufacturing fees, capital markets support and ancillary services. Introduce profitability monitoring and ensure disciplined revenue share arrangements. Strengthen Governance and Risk Oversight: Establish global EaaS governance forum. Standardize contracting templates, documentation frameworks and regulatory alignment across jurisdictions. Build and Lead the EaaS Organization: Recruit and develop execution focused talent with strong technical ETF expertise. Establish a center of excellence for ETF structuring and platform execution.

Requirements

• 15 plus years experience in ETF manufacturing, product platform leadership, capital markets or asset servicing.
• Deep knowledge of 40 Act ETFs and or UCITS ETFs.
• Strong understanding of sub advisory, co manufacturing and white label structures.
• Experience operating across multiple regulatory jurisdictions.
• Demonstrated track record of scaling complex platforms within a global matrix organization.
• Strategic but execution oriented.
• Commercially disciplined with strong risk awareness.
• Structured and process driven.
• Credible with senior stakeholders and regulators.
• Comfortable leading cross functional global teams.

Responsibilities

• Platform Leadership: Define a three year EaaS roadmap aligned with SSIM growth priorities. Establish operational capacity planning and global coordination model.
• Execution Oversight: Oversee complex ETF launches from mandate to listing. Coordinate with Capital Markets, Product, Client Coverage, Fund Management, Legal, Compliance, Operations and Technology.
• Product and Structure Development: Advance next generation ETF manufacturing capabilities including co branded, white label and model driven constructs.
• Financial Management: Monitor profitability, cost of manufacturing and operational efficiency. Implement structured financial dashboards and performance metrics.
• Stakeholder Management: Partner closely with senior leaders across distribution, product, investment and operations to ensure alignment and delivery.
